Hello 2011

Happy New Year!
Sean and I rang in the new year like a couple of old people. We went to the movies and got home at 12:30 and I almost forgot it was New Year's Eve.. Maybe next year I'll bring the New Year in "Party" style...

This Sinus/flu crap I've had for two weeks is starting to break itself up. Finally. I've been miserable..in the bed miserable!

So 2011, what will you look like? When I look back at 2010 I'm a little unimpressed. It sucked actually..but then again it was better than 2009 so maybe next year I'll be able to say 2011 looked better than 2010.

Let's Recap shall we?

The New year found us Halfway under water with the Flood on Christmas Day that kept the water around for awhile. Birdie walked on water... The temp was well below freezing on a daily basis.

Tomorrow's Highs, 53.. Yes, 53.

Let's see..what else exciting happened in january? I made a fool of myself in front of Cliff Lee *cy young award winner*  at the gym, Sean was up and down the road rodeoing, My mom turned 49..which means she's the big 50 this year! Oh and it snowed! (big deal for LA -lower arkansas)

Well from the look back at my blog posts, january pretty much sucked. Lets look back at February...
Well after just now looking back Feb. SUCKED a big fat one.
I really don't want to go into how bad it sucked but I dropped my Computer into the bathtub, loosing everything, I ran out of gas one day, and had a huge entergy bill, all three of which I blogged about, which makes me wonder why people still read my blog?

March must have been better, I'm going to go check out my old blog posts.
Yeah it was better.  I had a birthday the big 24 again, We had a crawfish boil, I went to the boats at Tunica to do some gambling, and dodged a Tornado by about a mile.

April showers brought me Chickens, American Idol was in Full swing.  I took a trip to Ohio for work and Sarah and Trevor Got married...

May was uneventful...Sean won a  Saddle....He was gone the rest of the month rodeoing.

June brought the tragic event at Albert Pike here in AR and not much else happened.  Sean was gone most of the month rodeoing

July, August, September, & October was mostly Full of Photo Shoots and Sean's absence due to the Rodeo.
Most of October and November have been erased from my memory due to bad relationship issues.
and December was Swell.

All in All 2010 was a pretty boring year.  Sean was gone 75% of the time and I learned that Photography was my real passion.  I learned to Lean on God more and more.   I learned that my Husband is really a good Man and that I should learn to trust and respect him more. I'm still learning to get a long with him better and it improves daily.

The one thing 2010 taught me was that you're only young once.  You only have one life.  You can choose to work hard at be miserable and stress yourself out trying to be what everyone else wants you to be, or you can work hard at what you LOVE and let go of small things and have fun and enjoy the one life God has given you.

My resolutions:

Blog More
Finish my Indoor Studio
Learn to play the Guitar
Build a Good Photo Business
Enjoy myself

Happy New Year Ya'll!

I always have to remind myself that no one said life was easy-- it's a rollercoaster! Our 2010 wasn't that great either, but Greg and I discussed what we want to do differently. I think you'll look back at 2010 and think that sure, it could have been better... but you got through it! 2011 is going to be even better :-)

And so guess what! We got a brand new Canon EOS D50 last night!! It's all so confusing to us though. Greg asked, "Maybe a blog friend will have some suggestions?" and I instantly thought of you ;-) If ya feel like it, send over any resources, tips, tricks-- I DEFINITELY can use the help! ;-)
