The Story of My Life

"GONE HUNTIN
 LOVE SEAN"

My next 10 years

I just realized that we're beginning a new Decade...yeah I know "where have I been?" Thought I would do a quick recap to give myself something to post about since I'm fresh out of ideas.

2000- I was 15. I'm pretty sure my life revolved around friends, boyfriends, and cheerleading. I remember the big snow storm was this year and we got like 15 inches of snow and we were out of electricity for a few weeks.

2001- My first year of high school. I got my first car, a jeep Cherokee.

2002- I was sick, lost tons of weight, and found out I had Celiac Disease and got a little better.

2003- I graduated high school, had the best summer ever at the lake and in Mexico. My Grandfather passed away after years of battling cancer. I moved to college. I met tons of new friends. I lived in the dorms. Was homesick like crazy, and joined a sorority, ZTA

2004- Partied like crazy, started selling insurance, got a boyfriend, and played Texas holdem poker almost every night. I got a cat, moved into a rent house, went to Panama City for spring break.

2005- I got really involved in Sorority life, serving on tons of committees, and moved into my own house with two super awesome roommates, and broke up with college boyfriend. Went to beach and Disney World with my roomies.

2006- Met Sean, began our whirlwind romance, got rid of the cat, got a new car, got homesick again. Went Snowskiing in Colorado. Learned about rodeos.

2007- Went on senior trip to Mexico with girlfriends. Graduated College!! Moved home with my parents for the summer. Sold my house. Moved to Houston with Sean, sold insurance in Houston, got really homesick, and got engaged.

2008- Moved back home with my parents, planned a wedding, got married, went to Aruba, and moved to Benton with Sean. Had to move in with Sean's parents after our rent house sold, got Banjo, and started working for Sean's dad selling insurance.

2009- Got our own house, got Birdie, and got a blog!

What a boring past decade...I must make the next 10 years more eventful. This past Decade was all about finding who I was and what I wanted in life...I guess I'm still working on that!

In the next decade I plan to start a family, further my career in insurance, hopefully move to Nashville, hopefully see Sean compete in the NFR, build a house, and find a church and strengthen my relationship with God.

See you next Decade!

A look back # 2.5

oops I forgot to post this...

July started out pretty fun, then got Hot and boring, then ended good. But Seriously I've never been so hot before in my life.

We celebrated the 4th of July on the Lake

Sean continued to sit out from the Rodeo with his cracked rib

I went to the beach with my Mom, sisters, and some Family Girlfriends

Church League Softball Started up and I got hit myself in the head with the ball while batting...don't ask how.  It left stitch marks, i've circled them for you so you don't confuse them with freckles..

August--
Apparently August was a pretty boring month.. I blogged about nothing important.
I had a garage sale, baked a mug cake, watched Sean compete in 500,000 rodeos, and watched it rain.  Let's just skip on to September

September-- National Honey Month :)
I FINALLY GOT MY CAMERA!! Yay!  September was full of photos.  The Chocolate Children got their photos taken more times than they liked.  We went to ton and tons of rodoes and I took tons and tons of photos.

We got ready for Duck Season and Deer Season.

Gepatto came to stay for a short while

Betty Crocker came out with Gluten Free Cakes and Cookies for me!!
I took photos at my first Wedding.

Sean won tons of Rodeos & I began to learn everything I could about photography!!

A look back #3

October --
October was pretty eventful.  It was full of rodeo finals and rodeo practice!
Melissa my sister was voted Homecoming Queen at her high school.

Sean won the ARA Rodeo Finals.

He also won the CRRA rodeo Finals.

I got the flu :(
The dogs got sprayed by a skunk.

Sean went deer hunting a lot and a high speed chase ended up in my back yard with hundreds of cops in our pasture!

Oh yeah, and we met this guy at sonic riding cross country!

November-
November was a busy month too!  It flew right by!  I took tons of photo shoots of friends for Christmas cards.

Sean and I went to the UPRA finals, with no luck in a saddle but a little bit of money.

I became a Duck Widow when Banjo and Sean left for Duck camp almost every weekend.

I found out I had to have my gallbladder Removed.
Twilight Came out!!
Thanksgiving was Fun! And we had a family Reunion!!

December-

This month flew by!!  I had my gall bladder removed so I lost a week or so.

Sean killed this thing.

For some reason I agreed to go duck hunting..

Birdie Became a woman.

It Flooded.

And we had a Wonderful Christmas!!

Good Riddance 2009 Hello 2010!  I welcome you with open arms.  Hopefully you will live up to my expectations for you.  If not,  I will post next year about how much you sucked...so you better be GREAT!!

A Look Back #2

May--
May was an Ok Month.  The weather was still Really wet.
My Homeboy Chris won American Idol!

Sean and I traveled to lots of rodeos all over the tri state area OK, TX, & AR.  Then Sean cracked a rib, causing him to sit out most of June & July.

This was right before the rib incident. That's him in the DoRag..or however you spell it.  I like it when he wears those things...he looks good!

We took a Girls Night out to see Kenny Chesney in Concert!!!

Our good friend Rance had his accident (continue to Pray for him!) So May ended on a sour note..

June--
It Stormed A Lot and got really hot! When I say hot I mean like 105 hot.  I've never been so hot in my life.  Our Energy bill was like 300 bucks ..that's hot.

Sean and I celebrated Our First Wedding Anniversary!

Sean got laid off from work, but it helped that Sean's friends from New Mexico came to stay with us through July and split the bills with us!  It got crowded in our house for a little while.
It got stressful with less money coming in each month.  I really stressed about it, which caused tempers to flare and voices to rise.  :)

We Had a crawfish Boil.

I used my camera money to buy Sean a grill for our anniversary/his June birthday.  Sad day.  But at least I got grilled meals for the next month :)

Birdie Grew fast.

And not much happened with Banjo.  He stayed fat and happy!
June was a pretty boring month...sorry.

Stay tuned for more...if you're not bored out of your mind already!

A look back

I thought I would do a little recap of my year and say goodbye to 2009.  This may get boring. Sorry.  I'm doing this for myself so I can look back in a few years years and remember what life was like.  So...Here's to you 2009...You SUCKED! This has BY FAR been the most difficult year of my life.  I've never been so stressed...I'm so ready for 2010!!  A new year brings new hope!

January--WARM RAIN COLD RAIN..we had to wait for the rain to stop so we could pour concrete for our house's foundation this was a very stressful time because we were staying with Sean's parents until we could get into our house.  It's not that fun being married and having to live with your in-laws.  Not that they weren't plesant...it was just crowded.  After weeks of waiting it finally stopped raining long enough to get the foundation poured! Then it started raining again.

February--RAINY &WARM..Sean was working nights so I never saw him, I was alone a lot, depressed and still living at his parents house waiting for the rain to clear so we finish setting up our house.

March--WINDY WARM WET.. My Birthday! The rain stopped long enough for us to finish setting up our house and Sean was working out of town about 3 hours away so I spent most night snuggling with Banjo and painting my house.  The weekends were spent driving to visit him and staying in his camper trailer..not fun.  I moved in to our house..alone.

April--April was a good month,
I started my blog,
Sean's Job brought him back home.
We introduced a new family member, Pretty Bird (Birdie)

The flowers started blooming and the world woke up!

Banjo turned one.

American Idol came back on, Obama became president,
Miss California talked about the Gays and Susan Boyle stole the worlds heart.
Oh and Rodeo Season Started in full force!

April is also the month My obsession with Cameras Started.  I started a Camera Fund to save up for a Canon.

Stay tuned for the rest of the year...this post would just be way to long to put it all in one!

I Heart Faces

This week at I Heart Faces the theme is Hilarious Outtakes.  Although these aren't that hilarious, they are cute.  Over Christmas weekend in my home town, I took photos of my best friend Laci, her Mom, and son Hayden.  I took Birdie along with me because on my way to Laci's house, Birdie was on the side of the road...I guess she was trying to get back to Benton!  Good thing I found her.  I just loaded her up and took her with me (after getting on to her for wandering off.)  This turned out to be a GREAT thing because Hayden LOVED her.

Every time I'd squat to take a photo Birdie would come lick my face and Hayden would just laugh and laugh.  I got some Great photos of his cute smile because of Bird!

Hayden got a peddle tractor for Christmas that has a trailer on the back. He made Birdie get in the trailer so I could take their picture!  He thought it was so funny!

Later, Birdie started busting ice in mud puddles behind me and started eating the ice...It was really funny and I got some good shots of the whole family laughing for real!  (Check out that sun flare!!)

Hayden's pretty avid about world peace.  Or at least I think he is, because he kept throwing me peace signs.   I have about 50 shots of him with the peace sign.  I didn't realize he was doing it in half of the photos until I loaded them onto my computer...little stinker.

He was cheesin' really big in this photo and his momma said, "Hayden, make a serious face."   This is Hayden's serious face...and he threw the peace signs in last minute.  I'm thinking he's really confused on the definition of Serious...

Towards the end of the shoot, he got restless because there was a bulldozer near this old house that he wanted to go check out.  He kept yelling "NO MORE PICTURES!!"   I bribed him though and told him I'd take his photo on the bulldozer if he'd be good.

He was really good (after this shot), and we got some cool pics of him on that bulldozer!!

The Night Before Christmas.

Well It's Christmas Eve at the Circle T and the rain has been coming down for about three days now.  The river has flooded and we had decided not to go to our family Christmas tonight just incase something was to happen and the river rose even more.  So far all the equiptment has been moved into the front yard and the cattle and horses have been moved into the pasture on highest ground.  The water is already in the horse barn and is about 50 feet from my back porch.  They've closed the interstate so I couldn't go into Little Rock to get my mom's Christmas present that was ready today.  I guess I'll have to get it to her for new years..

Here's the view this morning at 7 from my back porch.
Here's the same view about 5 pm.  The river is usually not visible from my porch.
We had to move the longhorns, some of them didn't want to go.  Notice the cow has a white calf right beside it swimming.  We think all of them made it out.
Sean and I decided we would travel the 30 minutes to the family Christmas and take the food and gifts that my MIL had prepared since they were going to stay on the ranch incase the river rose more.
As we were walking out the door the family called and said If we all couldn't come to them, then they were coming to us!!!  It was such a happy suprise!!  What a wondeful Christmas gift!!  They should be here shortly!!

Even though we're a little nervous about getting flooded out, there's one little girl who is so excited she can't stand it.  Birdie!  She LOVES water and she is having the time of her life.   I took some pictures of her in the barn yard,  which is usually dry, no water anywhere near it!

At least someone is making the best out of our flood!

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas Eve!!!

Staying Dry Inside,
Jenna T.
