Ahem...

Everyone, I have an announcement to make.
I have decided after a long three years of fighting it, that I'm going to try and become....

a cowgirl.

I've decided to try to rope. Yeah I know you're thinking it's a bad idea. But seriously think about it; I'm out at the arena every night sitting in a lawn chair just watching everyone else being cowboys and cowgirls, I basically go to every rodeo anyway and sit by myself in the stands, so why not compete myself?? I mean look:
  1. I'm very competitive and pretty athletic in my opinion
  2. I'm there anyway
  3. It looks fun
  4. I'm in desperate need of a hobby
  5. Zero turned out to be a pretty good little horse to start on
  6. What better way to spend time with my husband?
  7. And I'd look great in Clothes like this:

Ok that part was a joke. No one wears clothes like that at a rodeo.

The only down side will be

  1. I'll have to get dirt under my nails
  2. It can get smelly around horses and cows
  3. I'll have to get dirty
  4. I look horrible in cowboy hats
  5. I'll have to work hard
  6. I'll have to get dirty
  7. I might humiliate myself
  8. And last but not least I'll have to get dirty.

Anyway so I just wanted to let everyone know my decision. I've been practicing all week and it's pretty convenient to have a M-I-L who gives riding/roping lessons for a living when your trying to learn. I've started practicing by roping a bucket. This goal may take a while folks. I'll keep you posted!

Don't Try this at Home

If you are not a professional hair dresser, do not attempt to trim your husbands hair. Especially if he is obsessed with it. I wish I would've had someone tell me this before I attempted to trim Sean's Hair. I will have to admit that I did cut it shorter than he wanted on purpose because I HATE his hair long. I should've cut all of it off but I'm not brave enough to face the wrath of Sean when it comes to his hair.

In my opinion it looks great. I mean maybe the left side is an inch shorter than the right and maybe the front is longer than the back, and maybe it needs a little shaping, but it looks good. He needs the front cut much shorter because his bangs are longer than the rest of his hair and I think it needs to taper around his face but he wouldn't let me finish my masterpiece because he said I had already cut too much of the length off, and he said I was giving him a girl hair cut. He is very upset with how the hair style turned out and a little bit mad at me. He wouldn't talk to me for like two hours after he made me quit cutting. He wears a hat 24 hours a day anyways so I don't' know why it matters. Sean made me call my good Friend Holly to see if she'd fix it. (Just for the record Holly is a professional hair dresser, she does my hair at That French Salon in Little Rock)

I called Holly and informed her to cut it OFF no matter what Sean said but Sean then reminded me that it wasn't my hair it was his...but I'm the one that has to look at constantly so whatever Sean. I have come to the conclusion that I should've been a hair dresser because I had so much fun cutting Sean's Hair! I'm pretty sure I'm a natural...although Sean would beg to differ..

I would've posted a picture of my masterpiece but Sean wouldn't let me...
