Wordy Wednesday

Hey Guys!! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Ok So I haven't been taking many photos of anything other than photo shoots so Me and the dogs have been hanging out with the camera a bit.

The trees are beginning to look beautiful...their leaves are coming off quick though!

Bird got into the trash and got it everywhere.. I spanked her and put her in the dog house for awhile...

She's too cute to stay mad a though...

She hasn't moved for weeks!!  She has no eggs...any idea why she's doing that??

Banjo is as lazy as ever...

He won't even get up to fight with Bird..he just rolls over.. 

Birdie on the other hand is as wild as ever.   She is a master at catching balls in the air

 She's obsessed...

 I love my dogs.

A few things...

It's one day closer to the weekend and I have a few Things to blog about. First off a new set of animals has set up shop on my back porch along with Banjo and Birdie.

They look like this:

And they still remain nameless..

They enjoy looking at their reflections in the sliding glass door... 

And yesterday they learned to peck on the glass... Sean and I were watching tv when there was a knock on our porch door.  The uninvited guests were hungry.

This morning I went outside and Birdie and Banjo were lounging in their corner and Birdie was giving the evil eye to the chicken drinking out of Her water bowl...

They also took over the dog food bowl and I'm pretty sure there would've been a pretty good fight between dog and birds if the bowl hadn't have been empty.

I really thought it was cute that they were hanging around until my Rooster did this.

See that little splatter of what looks like spit?   It's Chicken sh*t. 

That nasty thing didn't even stop and think about it..just kept on walking.

Now I have to power wash my porch...which shouldn't be a big problem since my flowers need watering anyway  :)

Ok, I'm serious this time.  Help me Name these Creatures!  I've asked before but never named them.  What do I name them?  I want something funny because these birds are hilarious.   And no....I'm not doing as somone anonymously suggested on the last post and name them after my parents, Mark & Kim.... and i have a pretty good Idea of who lef that message by the way! ha

OK In other News which should probably be a whole nother post, but I'm going to jam it on the end of this one...

Yesterday was Sean's Birthday!  Happy Birthday Sean!!  

Check out the present my dad and I made for him.  My dad is super creative and I gave him my idea and he took it to a whole nother level!! 

Isn't it awesome!!  I'll have to dig up three more of his buckles and add a photo but isn't it cool!

THe buckles are sitting on Horse shoes and held by Horse Shoe Nails.  Check out that wood...We dug it out of an old pile of barn wood that had fallen over earlier this year.

I told Dad he should start selling these, I'd pay a lot for one!!

Look what I got

I've been absent for awhile...I just didn't really have anything to blog about until today!  The exciting thing to blog about is this baby...

BaBam Baby!!!!   I Got a 7D  AHHHHH!!!!    18megaPixelsADuelProcesser8framesPerSecondspeedandHDvideo....oh be still my heart... i've fallen in love.

It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.  I bought it yesterday and it set in the box until this afternoon because I was so nervous and intimidated by it.  I was shaking as I pulled it out of the box and I'm almost afraid to use it just yet.

*gasp* It takes my breath away..Such crisp beauty such vivid color...oooh I can't stop staring!

I immediately search for the Chocolate Children but they were no where to be found...swimming I'd imagine.  So the chickens got their photos taken.

What a week...It's finally Friday...5QF!

1. What is your worst memory of your siblings?

Leah I remember her crying all the time and being very dramatic about it.  When she was like 6 or so I took my GirlTalk and recorded one of her fits of her "fake crying and wailing"  It only made her madder :)  I used to giggle when she got spankings...she did when I got spankings too though...  Don't feel bad for her because she was stronger than me and would wrestle me to the ground quite often.
I don't really have bad memories of my siblings...

I don't ever remember having any bad memories of Melissa.  Of course our age difference has a lot to do with that...   I do have to state here that my memory is horrible though.. But she was such a sweet child.  I do remember getting onto her onetime and spanking her.  I spanked her too hard and left a red hand print on her butt.  I felt awful and i'm pretty sure I never spanked her after that. 

2. What was YOUR naughtiest childhood memory? (Must be something YOU did, no pawning it off on someone else!) 
Again, I have a horrible memory, or maybe I just block out the bad stuff but I remember putting a quarter in my mouth, and then lying to my mom about putting it in my mouth when she had just watched me do it...I got a spanking.  I'll always remember that spanking too because I learned my lesson and man it hurt...Leah giggled.  Ya know I don't think I lied ever to my mom after that...

3. Where do you like to go to relax?
A bubble bath or out to my front lawn under the oak trees...trees help me relax.

4. What was the last thing you won?
I never win anything anymore. I think the last thing I won was an argument with Sean.

5. If you could be on a game show, which would you choose?
Who wants to be a millionare.
 

So My chickens are starting to flock to me when I walk within their view..  It's funny because they take off running towards me, their heads bobbing back and forth.  It's acutally a little frightening.  I'm not sure why, but they kind of scare me a bit....their beady eyes have no love in them.  If I sit on the front steps they will jump onto my lap/sholder/back/arm/etc..it's quite hilarious

Does this make me white trash??  I think I'm going to try and pull it off as hippy chic instead of white trash...See I'm trying to save the planet and Go Green by laying my own eggs and using chickens to eat the mosquitos instead of pesticide....

Keep my cousins Jason & Miranda in your thoughts and prayers.  If you'll remember their house and cars were flooded in the Nashville TN floods. They are having to gut the house from the water level down..  Here's a photo that Miranda posted on her facebook today...It must be hard for them.

Knock Knock, Who's there?

This is what I walked up to yesterday after work.  My puppies were worn out from playing too hard!

Then I fed my chickens...can you believe how much they've grown!?

I walked up the front steps to go inside and a few seconds later heard someone knocking on the front door.

Haha! They were seriously trying to follow me inside!! They were trying to fly through the glass ha! They are so funny!  Have a great night!

weddings, airplanes,chickens, steerwrestling, and cheerleading

Well after the normal Airport frustration I have made it to Ohio.  Cincinnati Ohio to be exact...well actually i'm outside of Cincinnati.  It's different here than what I expected.  Not many trees, which is totally different from my Arkansas Oak Haven.  I expected it to be flat here for some reason too...huh, guess not.  So the airport was totally a headache, in fact I still have one.   After a two hour flight delay after a mechanical issue I reluctanly boarded the plane and I swear I saw them duct taping the wing back on.  I made it safely to ATL with two crying babies and one precious autistic boy who hummed like an airplane very loudly the entire flight only to miss my connecting flight due to the two hour delay on my first flight.  I got put on stand by for another flight to Dayton and luckly caught it..but apparently my luggage didn't get the memo.  Only a very exciting book kept my mind from having a nervous breakdown and going completely postal..

Do you know how horrible it is to travel on an airplane all day and then get to the hotel and not be able to brush your teeth or change clothes....it sucks.

I hope to return home to 4 and 1/2 healthy chickens.  I think it rained in AR today and according to an old wives tale, baby chicks will look up to the sky when it rains and the raindrops will fall into their open mouths and drown them...  they were left outside in Banjo's dog pen and let me just say that he isn't happy about givin up his house for a few days.  Sean said he would build them a chicken coop when hell freezes over and if I have anything to do with it Hell will freeze over between thursday and sunday and Banjo can have his man cage back. 
Oh and a special Congrats to Melissa my sister who made Alternate on the Arkansas razorback Cheer squad!  Hopefully they will bump her up to the squad!!  Alternate is a huge accomplishment for someone from a ltitle town like ours that doesn't have access to all the gymnastic gyms and stunting classes the big city girls have!!

And another congrats to Sean who finished 8th at the Steerwrestling Jackpot this weekend out of about 70 ppl.  even though 8th in the average was two holes away from winning money he still earns bragging rights and cool points in my eyes!!

And one more congrats to my cousin Sarah who Got married to the wonderful Trevor this weekend.  I got to film the wedding and it was a BLAST..  I highly recommend watching the untraditional entrance the bridal party made!!!

Haha! how fun was that??? 
Ps.  did you notice the shoes the groom and groomsmen were wearing?? super sweet converse tennies ha!

Woo Pig! Go Melis

This is a really long post.  It contains a Friday Funny hosted by Kelly at the end.  I should've split this into two seperate posts but I just didn't feel like it. 

Well It's finally Friday, I thought yesterday was Wednesday and missed a huge meeting I was supposed to go to on Thursday, which was yeterday.  Oh well, At least it's Friday. 

I have a busy weekend ahead..  My sister is trying out for the Arkansas Razorback Cheer Squad! at the University of Arkansas.  I know she'll do wonderful, I just hope the judges like what they see! 

Good Luck Melissa!!!  Call those Hogs!



My Cousin is also getting married this weekend and I'm taking Photos during rehersal and filming for her.. I can't wait to see her dress!   Oh Yeah and I got a new cell phone!!  The Blackberry Storm 2.  It's pretty cool..but I don't really like it yet. I think it's because I haven't gotten used to it.  I didn't like my other phone when I first got it either and now I love it.  FOr some reason it's not wanting to send any e-mails so I've got to get that figured out.  I'm going to have to take it by the store and let them fix some settings on it.  Sean got a Droid phone.. I haven't gotten to play with it yet but it looks really cool!

I also got my first air brush tan yesterday...it was probably the last time too...  The lady went way overboard on the color so I am very bronze today and I was really white yesterday so it's kind of weird and unnatural.  I've never had an airbrush tan done before and I didn't realize that your body absorbs the color then when you take a shower it rinses off all that your body couldn't absorb.  So I walked out of that tanning salon darker than an my chocolate labs.  I was horrified.  All night I was freaking out that I was going to go to this wedding looking like an alien.  Thankfully when I took a shower all the extra came off :)  I looked much better after the shower but still unnatural.  So now I can go to the wedding in a cocktail dress and not in a nun outfit.

Oh and A miracle happened yesterday.  I walked outside to feed the chickens and low and behold the missing chicken I thought Birdie swallowed whole was walking around like nothing had happened.  I looked for that stuipd thing for a FULL HOUR and then came to the conclusion she ate it.  I have no idea where it hid for 24 hours and no idea how it survived over night in the cold but it did and I now am back to 4 full chickens and 1 half chicken, which, I will have to say is adapting quite well to living with one leg.  It gets extra attention from me and I think it likes it!  It just hops right along with the others like nothings wrong.  It's a trooper. :)  I can't wait until they grow big enough to tell whether they are male or female. 

Ok now the friday funny.  I have to thank my co-workers for fowarding hilarious e-mails to me through out the week to keep me laughing!

I have to say I would give all of these guys money just for being creative!  Some of them are just being honest, and the others may think they are being honest...like the time traveler..i think he really thinks he's a time traveler...from the early 90's apparently.  This reminds me of a Guy that stood on the same corner near my work that was there rain or shine and he would dance and do tricks with his sign.  It always said "this side up" and he'd hold it upside down.  He was a lot of fun to watch...

Oh and I'll be in Ohio all next week, so I'll be blogging from there!!  Have a wonderful weekend!
