Our Hometown did their 4th of July Celebration Last week...Here are some photos!  The kiddo in this photo is 5 year old Hayden, my Bff's little boy. He Was SOOOO impressed by the fireworks. He got so excited!! It was more fun to watch him than the fireworks!!

Ok, looking at these photos makes me want to do the Curly Sue thing and stand on my bed and sing the National Anthem as loud as possible!!!
Was any body else a Huge Curly Sue Fan when they wer younger like me??

Wordless Wednesday

It's Wordful Wednesday!!   I promise this is my last post of Hunting Photos...I think.  You can visit my previous posts to read about my horrible hunting experience.  Or you can just click here and also here and here.

I also wanted to randomly share with you that the top Baby Names of 2009 were announced and guess what name was number 1, Isabella!  I'm sure Twilight had a lot to do with that.  I found it funny.  Guess what name made it to the top 100??   JENNA  comming in at 99th place.  I barely made it :)
Rounding out the top 5 girls was 2. Sophia 3. Emma 4.  Olivia and 5.  Ava.
Top 5 boys are 1. Aiden 2. Ethan 3. Jackson 4. Jayden and 5.  Jacob...another Twilight name!

Merry Christmas!!

Wordful Wednesday

It's Wordful Wednesday again!! Check out 7 Clown Circus for more Wordful Wednesdays!

This is Birdie, birdie LOVES balls.  I threw a rubber ball I got her for halloween out into the yard for her to fetch and she brought me back a softball...?   I don't know where the softball came from but it's her favorite toy now.  She's so funny!  Banjo doesn't get this excited about his toys but Birdie is Hilarious!!

When Bambi met Sean.

WARNING:  Wordful Wednesday's Post is a little graphic today, for those of you who don't get to experience living with a hunter like I do, you might not want to read this post.

So what is Sean doing in this photo you ask??    Sharpening his knife.  Why?

Because he killed a Unicorn.  Or at least that's what he told me when he called me from the deer stand.  I believe his exact words were,  "I've killed the most elusive animal in the world, Jenna a unicorn!"  He needed his knife sharp to skin it and cut out the meat so we can eat him!  We LOVE deer meet and deer sausage and deer chili and deer jerky and deer burgers and deer... well I guess that's about it

He's seen this deer every year for three years and for the last three years it's only grown one horn.  He wanted to kill it to get it out of the breeding gene pool.  (It was my Idea to put his hand up in place of the horn..I thought it was funny last night...now..not so much)

Banjo had to get in close for a sniff,  I think he was dreaming of all the table scraps he would get from this guy later on.

Birdie, was quite curious,  Banjo was around last deer season and knew what he was dealing with,  Birdie was very intrigued.  Banjo tried to explain to her that he was dead and we were going to eat him later, but Birdie kept barking like a maniac.

Oh and Sean also killed this demon.  The Coyote.  They get after the calves during calving season and so Sean is happy to kill them at any time.

This was a big coyote.  He was bigger than Birdie and Banjo.  Banjo was scared of him and Birdie constantly growled at it.  I'd never heard her growl before and for a little girl she has a very intimidating growl.  (I edited the photo because I didn't think you wanted to look at his innards)

And now just because I exposed you to that gruesome post of photos, I thought I'd leave you with this cute picture I found on Google, to erase the dead animals from your brain...

You're welcome.

Wordful Wednesday

I'd like to start off by saying a big THANK YOU to everyone who prayed for me during my surgery!!
I was really nervous when they started getting me ready for surgery but as I was praying I remembered all the people that were praying for me and thinking of me and I felt so much more relaxed and much less nervous!!
Anyway,  everything went great and I am now gallbladder free :)   I had a close call with the IV needle but didn't pass out!!!  yay!  After waking up I was in extreme pain and after about an hour of morphene I was pain free and ready to go home.  I have four incisions and am really sore but I'm doped up on painkillers so I'm feeling great!  ha  They told me it would be a few days and I'd be back to normal.

And now for my WordyWednesday!

Sunday I went with Kacey and Ava to the Christmas Tree Farm  and we took pictures for Christmas Cards.  She called it the Christmas Farm and there was a petting zoo and swings and she seemed to have a great time!!  We had so much fun and Ava is such a great little girl to take photos of!!  Here are a few of my favorites..

For more Wordful Wednesday go to Angie's at Seven CLown Circus!
Well Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!
