Ducks and stuff II

I just thought I'd share with you a few more pictures from our hunt. I also want to know, what is your husband obsessed with? (other than you of course) My husband eats, sleeps, and breathes duck hunting.  Unfortunately he also eats, sleeps, and breathes, any type of hunting: deer, coyote etc.  He also eats, sleeps, and breathes rodeos so actually he's pretty full, and rested.

Now, the rodeo obesession I don't mind so much, because I like to go and watch and it makes money. The hunting obsession is a totally different story, which you've already read about...

At least I got some cool shots...with the camera not a gun.

Check out Banjo's drool...ew

Somehow I think the whole face paint thing is pointless if you don't cover up your hands...

So, what does your husband's (or wife's) favorite hobby?? Poker night?  Golf?  Hunting?  Or are you one of the lucky ones and your husband adores you and never leaves your side?  Do you ever participate with him in his obsession? Did you ever want to see what the big deal was and come back with frost bite on your feet? No? Just me? Well...Let me know!!!

Still hating duck hunting,

love the drool shot!

my hubs just lives for fishing. Any kind, doesn't matter as long as it lives in water. I do tag along most the time and bask in the sun on the back of the boat with a good book.

Thank goodness he has a "warm" hobby. I sure couldn't do the hunting gig. I could never be still & quite long enough! :O)

Love the post, my husband lives for team roping. If he is not doing it he is roping the dummy, talking about roping or watching a roping video or reading a roping magazine. If he is not doing any of those he is asleep and he is dreaming about roping. I do try to participate in his hobby because that is really the only way I get to spend time with him. (Not saying that he is a bad husband because he isn't, he is great, he is just VERY VERY passionate about roping) I have been to ropins, in the snow, in the ice, in the rain, and in the heat. I know what you are going through. Man, good thing they married women like us, huh?

My husband lives for hunting too.. mainly deer and turkey. His other hobbies include building and fixing things. If he's not doing either of the above he's spending time with Owen and I :)

i love love love all your pics!

my hubby lives for music & books. The books are Bible-related...he's into studying the culture of Bible times & he has learned to read the Bible in Hebrew. He's currently learning Greek. As for music, he orchestrates & composes music & he loves to be in his studio, doing that or just playing his keyboards. sometimes i sing w/ him, too. i LOVE it as background music while i'm cleaning or cooking...until he starts playing all the "cool sounds" on his keyboards - incl fart & burp sound effects! he thinks it's hilarious! Boys will be boys, no matter their obsession, i guess! HAHA!

Oh yes, hubby's obsession is most definitely hunting and fishing! His favorite season is deer season. And it also doesn't help that he is a taxidermist! It just fuels his obsession! So I totally feel for you honey. We are in the same boat together!

My hubby's new obsession is Triathlons... He is absolutely obsessed. Reads books about them, goes to lunch with other guys that participate, researches them on the internet, and buy lots of stuff... GOOD GRIEF! I'm glad he has a hobby though, I think we need to keep our own interests!
