A Butterfly & a Bull Rider.

Happy Halloween Everyone!!  Banjo and Birdie LOVE their new outfits!!  Poor dogs.. ha
They both didn't mind having the outfits on...they were really interested in chewing on each others costumes though!

You may notice that Bird is still skinny...She had a false pregnancy so no puppies until next spring.  That may be a good thing though because that means she'll get to go on her first duck hunt here in the next few weeks!

The Cowboy on Banjo the Bull's back did not last 8 seconds.  Birdie had him chewed up in about 2.4 seconds!

Happy Halloween!!! Be Safe!

Easter

Sean and I didn't buy new Easter outfits this year, we just wore something we already had.  We totally didn't mean to color coordinate but It just worked out that way!  It was SOOOOO humid on Sunday that I could hardly breathe!!  My hair curled up and poofed the second I walked outside...the new haircut does not look good mixed with humidity....

Banjo and Birdie didn't get new Easter clothes either, but they did get to go swimming so they enjoyed that!

Easter says you can put truth in a grave, but it won't stay there. ~Clarence W. Hall

Matthew 28:1-10

After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you."
So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me." (NIV)

I hope everyone remembered the real reason for Easter and had a wonderful one!

Chickadees

It's GOOD Friday!!!  Happy Friday!  I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter weekend!  I can't wait to dye easter eggs!

Check out what I bought the other day.

Aw.  Aren't they just the cutest widdle things you've ever seen!
The are not named because they will more than likely meet their maker soon because of all the racoons we have snooping around I don't want to get attached.
Sean specifically said, "do not buy chickens."  So I did anyway.  I'm keeping them inside in a box for now until they are old enough to handle the cold nights.  I brought them home Tuesday and snuck them into the extra bed room and went to lay on the couch and watch TV with Sean.

From the back room I could hear little "peep peep"s comming from the chickadees.  I knew Sean would be pissed if he knew I'd bought them, so I just turned the volume up on the TV ever so slightly, to drown out the "peeps."
A few minutes later the "peeps" got louder.  So I turned up the volume a little more, and then I went into the kitchen and did the dishes very loudly and I'm pretty sure I even wistled a little bit.

About two hours later Sean said,  "what's that noise?"  I ran back to the back room and fed the chickens and then came back into the living room and said, "Oh the TV in the back bedroom was on."

About 10 minutes after that I hear more "peep"s  Sean asked again, "what is that noise!!"  I said, "Oh the window in the extra bedroom is open, there must be baby birds in the tree or something..."  Sean started to get angy and said, "Jenna, baby birds in a tree outside would not be that loud, YOU BOUGHT THOSE DAMN CHICKENS DIDN'T YOU!"   I lied and said
"no, it's the baby birds."

He walked back to the extra bedroom... I was caught.  But after one look at the cute little chickadees he couldn't help but quit being angry.  Now, Who will be ordering eggs this summer??

The Circle T Version of Twas the Night Before Christmas
By Jenna Thomas

'Twas the night before Christmas,
when all through the house

Not a creature was stirring,
because I'd already trapped the mouse;

The stockings were hung on the TV stand with tape,

Because we don't have a chimney for our stockings to drape.
The Chocolate children were curled up at the foot of our bed,

While visions of beggin strips danced in their heads;

Sean was in is recliner and I was on the laptop,

I was blogging, He was a snoring, and just wouldn't stop.
When running and barking the dogs came with a bounce

Letting me know a stranger had arrived unannounced.

Away to the porch I ran with my broom

Ready to swing if a burgler did loom.
The moon cast bright light on the Circle T Ranch

And scary shadows were cast from a nearby branch

"Sean, come look,  I'm scared!"  I yelled in his ear

And he jumped up and looked outside to see 8 buck deer!
He ran to get his gun so fast and so quick,

He didn't notice it was really reindeer pulling St Nick!

I tried to warn Santa, "Get away! Sean will shoot!

And he hollered at his reindeer, "Let's get outta Here, Scoot!"

"Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!

On, Comet! on, Cupid! on, Donder and Blitzen!

Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!
Dash away quick or you'll be on Sean's Wall!"

Sean appeared in the doorway ready to Kill,
But Santa's team had already flown over the hill.
But I heard him exclaim, as he flew out of sight,

Merry Christmas to you, but NO presents tonight!

Christmas Tree.

Well I finally got some Photos of my Christmas Tree up.  It's full of red berries and stars, and cowboy ornaments.

My Grandmother gave me this pretty ornament as a Get well gift when I got my Gallbladder removed.  I wanted to hang it above the door, since it's mistletoe but I ended up just putting on the tree.

I made these ornament and gave them out to my family.  They are full of feathers.  They are really pretty on the tree.  I made some black and white ones too.

95% of the ornaments I bought for my tree I got on sale last year after Christmas, the store I went to had lots of stars and berries left so I bought them all and made my Tree "Star & Berry" themed.

I also got these huge funky balls. They look western to me so I bought them.

I picked up four of these super cute bells at the UPRA Finals Rodeo in Texas, they are so cute and bring a little different bit of color to my tree.  (And more stars)

I have these stars on my tree in white, navy blue, and dark red.

And last but not least I have barbed wire garland, which isn't really made of barbed wire but I thought It was just too cute to pass up!

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Photos

Last night Sean said he would go to the grocery store with me and help me pick out some foods he would like to eat.   He is a really picky eater, a "meat n' taters" type of guy.   He had gotten up at 3 am yesterday morning to go Duck Hunting so I had hoped he wasn't in a sour mood.

When I got home from work this is what I found.  Needless to say I went to the Grocery store alone...

And it looks like Sean wasn't the only sleepy Duck Hunter in the house either.  (Like Banjo's new bed??)
They both did not move until around 9pm when Sean slowly walked into the bedroom and fell quickly back asleep in the bed.  Banjo remained on his bed until breakfast.

Sean was in a good mood today though.  Sean's Dad asked for a picture of his two boys and the saddles they had won, and I thought I better take it while Sean's not away hunting or sleeping from hunting.

I had this cute Idea of Saddles stacked at different levels on hay bales and all this other creative stuff that involved horses and it was going to be so cute!!

And well this was all they would do for me.  My vision was erased quickly... Stupid Boys.  I would've done it myself but the Dr. said don't lift anything over 20lbs for six weeks after my gallbladder sugery and it has only been three weeks.  So there goes the cute hay bale idea.  Stupid boys.

I guess it turned out good enough.  Then they made up for being stupid boys by acting like stupid boys amd I couldn't help but quit being mad at them.
(love the truck in the background?)

Here's a preview of Mine and Sean's Christmas Picture Shoot..  It didn't go to well... we finally got one good one, but I'll wait and show you after I mail them!
