Arkansas

So Josh From Joshland, one of my favorite blog reads asked me a question!!! yay!  His exact question was.  "How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? What is your favorite part of living in Arkansas?"

Well Josh, it's funny you ask that because I'm a master at tounge twisters..  "A woodchuck would chuck all the wood he could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood" 

But seriously, he totally opened up a HUGE topic when he asked what my favorite part about living in Arkansas is... I could go on an on for days!! 

My Favorite part of living in Arkansas Has to be the BEAUTIFUL outdoor life that our state has.  I could sit outside and stare a God's beautiful earth for hours on end in any part of Arkansas.   Arkansas isn't called the Natural State for nothing!  We have Mountains, River Valley plains, Rivers, Lakes, lots of old towns that hold so much history, it's just amazing.  We have horse races, natural hot springs, caverns, a diamond mine, and Tons more!  If you are an outdoor sports lover, Arkansas is your paradise!

Arkansas has beautiful weather, plenty of wild animals, and tons of recreation.  I love how Arkansas offers both the Country feel along with the City life with Little Rock being our largest town.  I'm totally mad at myself now beacause this weekend I was down town in Little Rock and it was Beautiful and I didn't take any photos at all.  I was also in the Ouchita Mountains Saturday and shouldve taken photos of the sunset and the mountains.  But I didn't. 

Just to give you a little bit of Arkansas Facts:  Our rich Mississippi River Valley Makes us one of the Largest rice producers in the world!  We are also the largest Poultry producers in the US.  Arkansas Has the worlds only public Diamond Mine.  Arkansas is also the Duck Capitol of the world, with Suttguart Arkansas being the Duck Capitol of Arkansas. And produces half of the worlds Bauxite, which makes aluminum.

Girl Fight

I thought I'd take some photos on my lunch break since my blog has been photo hungry for about a month now. 

The Chocolates haven't made an appearence in awhile either so I took photos of them.

They played tug o war for awhile

Then Birdie pushed Banjo, she was just playing around though.

But Banjo took it the wrong way and got Serious

He pinned Birdie,

But because of his hip problems, he can't manuver like The Bird, and she pulled a switcharoo and within secounds she had pinned him down and made him cry. 

So Banjo went to chew on some weeds to take his mind off getting pinned by a girl.

And then Birdie knocked him out of the way and ate the weed he was playing with.  Gah she's mean. 

So Banjo went to roll around in the grass.

And then tried to eat a flower. 

And Birdie ended up with the toy. :)

Blue Eggs and Ham

What's with me not posting any pictures in a month??  I don't know, I've been too busy and lazy to do things like walk outside and push my finger down on a button and take a photo.  Maybe I'll be some energy and snap some photos this week...

This weekend was BEAUTIFUL and i should've taken tons of photos but I was too busy getting ready for a MaryKay party and shooting skeet...(target practice with shotguns and clay discs)  yeah i'm redneck.  I'm pretty sure I jerked my shoulder out of socket too..

Anyway I was getting ready to go to a Mary Kay Party and I got a craving for an omelet.  This omelet turned out to be the longest most difficult omelet I've ever made, and I'll tell ya why.  Try #1 resulted in me cooking spoiled bacon that stunk up the kitchen and produced green bacon...ew.  Try #2 was off to an awesome start with fresh bacon.  Man it smelled so good!  I was just about to fold the omelet together when Sean walked into the kitchen and started to pull spices out of the spice cabinent and act like he was putting random spices in the omlette to aggravate me which, I'll admit was kind of cute because he was totally flirting.  Then he did something that royally pissed me off.  He grabbed blue food coloring and sprinkled about 15 drops of blue food coloring onto my perfect omelet.  I gave him a look that could only be read as 'I'm going to kill you' and he gave me a look that could only be read as 'oh Shit!' 

Now, you may be thinking, "Big deal, food coloring doesn't taste."  But, let me just let you know that 15 drops of food coloring on a tiny omelet may or may not create a huge mess, a blue mouth, blue teeth, and blue tongue.  I had to go to a Mary Kay party in one hour and was so afraid of going and doing the Beauty Class with a blue mouth...I'm sure I would've sold tons of makeup then...I wasn't going to risk eating it.

So Omelet try #3 finally resulted in an awesome omlette, full of bacon and cheese and onions and tomatoes and Sean kicked out of the kitchen for the remainder of my omelet cooking session. 



ps.  I saved the blue omelet and ate it the next day, and it turns out I do like blue eggs and ham, and it doesn't turn your mouth blue :)
