When I arrived at my house I discovered a new species of amphibian. The ever so scary Green Window Frog.
The Green Window Frog clings to your sliding glass door at eye level so when you go to open the door to pet your every so loving chocolate children, the Green Window Frog is there staring at you with his beady little eyes, waiting patiently to startle the bageezez out of you.
He also leaves behind a nice trail of slime, forcing the homeowner to finally break down and clean the sliding glass door.
So anyway... When I finally got past the Green Window Frog to love on my Chocolate Children, I couldn't help but notice an unplesant skunk like smell.
"Sean" I called out from the porch. "Did you forget to tell me something about the Dogs??" "Oh Yeah. They got sprayed by a skunk."
So all that loving I wanted to do on my dogs I will have to postpone until I can get the smell to go away. This happened to Banjo last year around this time. It was 10x worse last time though, he was sprayed right in the face. The skunk got real upclose and personal with nosy Banjo. I think this time Banjo knew what he was up against and just didn't get away in time. Birdie got the majority of the skunk spray on her side, it got on her brand new collar too. Guess I'll have to get her a new one. Banjo doesn't smell that bad. I think actually Birdie was the only one that got sprayed and then rubbed up on Banjo.
I bought some Skunk begone, vinegar, baking soda, and tomato juice. I'm gonna try everything!! Last time it took about 3 months for Banjo to quit smelling! Banjo didn't sleep in the house at this point in time so it wasn't a big deal, but Birdie has never slept outside so I feel sorry for her. I'll resort to shaving birdie if I can't get the smell out with all the ammo Ive got!! I can't leave her spoiled little rear outside for too long!!
