letter from the postmaster

Last night when I came home I checked the mail and this was the one thing in the box that wasn't a bill.  For those of you who don't want to strain your eyes this says:

WE CARE
Dear Postal Customer:
We sincerely regret the damage to your mail during handling by the Postal Service.  We hope this incident did not inconvenience  you.  We realize that your mail is important to you and that you have every write to expect it to be delivered in good condition.
Although ever effort is made to prevent damage to the mail, occasionally this will occur because of the great volume handled and the rapid processing methods which must be employed to assure the most expeditious distribution possible.
We hope you understand.  W assure you that we are constantly striving to improve our processing methods in order that even a rare occurrence may be eliminated.
Sincerely,
Your Postmaster

This was what was inside.

Holy Crap... This is a little more than damage! I'm sure it was once a really cute Christmas card...and knowing the person who sent it, it was sent waaaaay before Christmas. I'm glad it wasn't some really important document or something.

Oh well.. at least it came with a sweet note from the postmaster :)

Bird's Problems

Ok I Love Banjo, you all know that by now.  He was my first puppy and he's just a big ol teddy bear that likes to carry things around in his mouth.  But this post is all about how how much I love my little Bird.

She is my snuggle bunny and she's so little and perfectly fits in my indain style lap while I'm blow drying my hair and sleeps.  I think Birdie is a pretty dog with long eyelashes and a dainty little face, I mean her name is Pretty Bird.. just one thing bothers me...

She is THE most UNphotogenic dog IN THE WORLD!   She takes horrible pictures.  I don't think there isn't one photo of Birdie that I actually think she looks good in.  Banjo is a beautiful lab, every photo I take of him he looks gorgeous, like he should be on a dog food bag or something. ha

Here are some shots I took of my dogs today.  Please realize that every.single.photo. of Birdie was bad.  These were the best.  Bless her little heart.

Birdie: Deer in the headlights.  Banjo: Nostalgic

Banjo: Majestic   Birdie: Hungry

Banjo:  Beautiful.  Birdie:  Manic

Birdie:  About to sneeze

Yes, that would be Bird's Butt.  Notice how good Banjo looks in all of these.  We named her Pretty Bird, because she is very very pretty but these photos just don't do her justice.  I wonder if this foreshadows the way my children turn out...what if I have a child that takes ugly photos!!  Oh no.  What a tragedy that would be.
