I'll be back

From Google Images

I have an unwanted visitor in my house that is multiplying.  I have killed two of these unwanted visitors so far but apparently he told his friends all about my house before I killed him and they are all coming in to party.

We live in a field.  We live in a field next to the river that has overflowed and pushed all the little field creatures onto higher ground, higher ground is my house.

I had NO idea we had another roommate until Sean called me and said, "I think we have a mouse in the house."  I told Sean he was probably just hearing things and he said, "Um, no I just saw it run down the hall."  Great.  I went to Wal-mart right away and bought four sticky pads and one live mouse trap.

The very next morning we had a mouse in the live trap, which Sean called the PETA mouse trap, because it didn't kill or hurt the mouse.  Apparently me and this mouse have something in common, the love of Peanut Butter, that was the bait I used and we had him within 12 hours.  Sean took the mouse to the hay barn and let it out, I think the kitty's might have gotten him.

I really thought my mouse problem was over, but I left the sticky traps out just incase.  Saturday morning I awoke to a mouse caught on a sticky trap that had mysteriously moved about 6 feet from where I had placed it.  It kind of freaked me out...   two down.

I thought my problems were finally over and then I heard something scurrying under the kitchen sink last night and opened it up to find little "left behinds" of the scurrying animal.  So now when I get home after work I'm going to have to empty out everything under my kitchen sink, which is basically jammed packed with cleaning supplies,  and clean up all the little prizes this mouse left for me.

I officially Hate mice and am now on a warpath to Kill them all!  I am the mouse terminator.

I'll be back..

I'm with you! We live with fields all around too. Last week I went to clean the storage room in my basement and had 3 surprises laying dead on the floor!! Yuck. We have that Dcon poison set out, it sure does the trick.

In the last place we lived we caught mice all winter long. Ugh. One week we caught an entire mouse family. We haven't found any mice in the place we live in now... I'm hoping it stays that way!

You reminded me of when i first moved out of my parent's - at 21 - i lived in a house with 3 other girls. & we lived by a field as well. Ooh we had a mouse problem for awhile there! & we used the sticky pads too (which kinda freaked me out also!) Good luck!

Oh no! I feel for you...I really do. My mom lives on a farm and sometimes has mice trouble. We haven't yet had any trouble where we live, knock on wood. I hope you get those nasty little creatures caught and out of your life for good!
