My Birthday weekend.

I had a wonderful Bday weekend.  Friday I took off work and cleaned all day inorder to get ready for the crawfish boil on Saturday.  I took a 4 hour nap because it was my birthday and I can do whatever I want on my birthday.  Then Sean and I and one of his buddies went out to eat at a restraunt in town where a live band was playing.  It was fun but I wanted to get to bed early because I needed my rest for Saturday. 

I came home Friday afternoon to find that Sean had suprised me with the most Awesome pair of boots EVER which most of you may find a little wild, but they are right up my alley!!!  I LOVE them!

He had also bought flowers...which is a first. There were my favorites too, lilys and daisies!

The Crawfish Boil was a huge success, we ate all 120 lbs of Crawfish, we had a band come and play, there was a heated washer tournament going on throughout the day, and that night we all sat around a campfire and talked and listened to Sean play the guitar.

    I found that Birdie really really likes Crawfish and she kept sneaking them out of the bucket we had them sitting in and would eat them whole.  Banjo liked them too but they didn't agree with his stomach...ew.   Birdie also kept trying to fetch the horseshoes when we started to play horseshoes.  We had to watch her closely ha! 

For those of you who aren't from the south and have no idea what washers and horseshoes are and have never sat around a campfire or eaten crawfish...You are totally missing out on the good life. 

I did not take photos because I forgot...they would've all been blurry anyway :)

PS if you drink a whole gallon of bloody marys while eating crawfish you will wake up the next morning so swollen from too much sodium that your whole body hurts and you can't wear any of your rings...and your mouth will be ON FIRE... Not that that happened to me or anything.

I'd like to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday and made me feel better about turning 25!  I'm glad that I have blog friends that understand!

My Ballet Career was short-lived.  That outfit is hot though.  The feathers really compliment the sequins.

It's my birthday.  I'm a little depressed.  I'm 25.  I know that isn't very old in the grand scale of life but I just looked up and I was 25, it seems that last year I was 20.  Does that mean when I look up again I'll be 30?  Is this what all the adults in my life talk about all the time??  Where does time go so fast?   Why is it that when I was young time was slower?  Do we get busier?  Do we forget to stop and let our curiosity take us on a new adventure like we did when we were kids?  Is that why time goes by so fast...because we don't have time to stop and play?  Does is just get faster from here?  I don't know.  I just know it's depressing.  And I hate change.  So today I'm 24 again, and every year hearafter I'll be 24.  I don't want to age anymore.

Time is Humans' worst enemy.

American Idol

What was up with the Judges last night?!  I disagreed with the majority of what they said.   Kara is annoying the crap out of me too..she tries to be way too dramatic!

Ok So here are my top picks

I Thought Crystal Looked great last night...She reminded me a lot of Jewel.  Was that just the teeth or does the girl really look like Jewel?  Her song was great, she really didn't have any bad moments!

Katelyn Looked Fabulous last night.  She looked way better than last week and really suprised me.  I didn't realize she was that great of an artist before last night.  I was pissed the judges were so hard on her.  It was a great performance. 

I thought Paige did great too.  The judges, again weren't impressed..WEre they paying attention???  Girl can Sing!

I was almost ready to fight Kara and all of the judges for that matter on their comments to DiDi.  Her voice is so clear and beautiful and the song wasn't that wrong for her.  I am so dissappointed in the judges..I think they are trying to make her go home..Why?  They made her cry too...I hope they go home and relisten to the show and apologize.  She's great!

This girl is so weird I don't know what to make of her.  I really wanted Vera Wang to jump up out of her seat and redress this girl.  She's so weird... and is she a little bit slow?  Because I think she's either mental challanged, an air head, or smoked way to much pot. 

I thought the judges were way to hard on Lacey too.  She sounded great, she looked great, and she had fun.  Her voice is so unique and clear.  I loved it!

I hate this girls voice. Hate hate hate it. I like clear voices and hers is so opposite. She's really annoying too, but she hit the majority of the notes so I have to put her above the people below her.

This performance was Horrible,  I kept waiting for her to get into the song and get loud but it just went all wrong and off key.  THe judges loved it though...I wasn't digging her outfit either..and those half gloves confused me but the judges like it so whatever

Ok Honey it's time for you to go home...  Try again next year. 

In my opinion as far as Voices go, this was the order of Good to bad.  But sadly, the final six is voted on by America, and not by Jenna so I think the voices will have nothing to do with it.
