Thank you

First of all I'd like to thank each and every one of you for all your loving and kind comments and e-mails.  I will respond to each of you individually as soon as I'm able to figure out how to get into my email while away from work without using my blackberry.  For some reason my e-mails don't stay in my black berry after I open them so if I look and don't reply right away they dissappear...i didn't realize that!!

I'm so thankful that I have such sweet blog friends!!

I would love to share some photos of what I've done this week with sweet Kinley but my card reader was left at home :(  so I'll have to share them later.

I'd like to share a little thingy i found.  I really liked it's message:

It's called  "I believe..."

I believe...

...A birth certificate shows that we were born; a death certificate shows that we died; phictures show that we lived!

...That no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

...That you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.

...That it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.

...That you should always leave loved ones with loving words.  It may be the last time you see them.

...that we are responsible for what we do, not matter how we feel.

...That either you control your attitude or it controls you.

...that heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.

...That money is a lousy way of keeping score.

...That maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.

...That our background and circumstances my have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we  become.

...Two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

...That credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.

...the happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything: they just make the most of everything.

Well those are some words of wisdom i found for you for the day!  Hope one of them speaks to you as some of them did for me!

Love Ya!

Diamond are a girls Best Friend!

Well It's day two of this week and I'm already wanting it to be over.  Sean Leaves tonight for a week long Rodeo trip and I'm gonna be super lonely.  I guess me and the Chocolates will kick it at my in-laws since our AC is still broken.

Last Saturday, Mom and I went to the Diamond Mine in Murfreesboro for a photography clinic.  I hadn't been to the Diamond Mine since I was a little girl and thought it would be fun to go take some photos, learn a little more about composition and let Mom learn a little more about her Canon Rebel.

Did you even know that Arkansas had a Diamond Mine?  You can learn more about the Crater of Diamond State Park Here.  It is the only Diamond Producing Mine in the world that is open to the public.  The last Diamond was found on June 30th!  There's almost one found every day!  Last year someone found a 5 carat diamond.  The largest ever found was in 1975 and it was 16 carats!
Here are some of the Photos I took, Momma had a bunch of good ones too!
These two kids above and below were brother and sister.  He was carving a knife out of a rock and she was building a home for animals.  They were precious.

I was informed that this guy is at the Diamond Mine Daily.  I asked him how many Diamonds he finds and he says 8 to 10 a year is his average!  Wow!
This Is an actual mine shaft that is really old.  It's no longer working and you can't go inside.

Mom, showing off her photo skills.
This is how you sift for diamonds.

Well hope you enjoyed!  Have a great Tuesday!

A few things...

It's one day closer to the weekend and I have a few Things to blog about. First off a new set of animals has set up shop on my back porch along with Banjo and Birdie.

They look like this:
And they still remain nameless..

They enjoy looking at their reflections in the sliding glass door...
And yesterday they learned to peck on the glass... Sean and I were watching tv when there was a knock on our porch door.  The uninvited guests were hungry.

This morning I went outside and Birdie and Banjo were lounging in their corner and Birdie was giving the evil eye to the chicken drinking out of Her water bowl...
They also took over the dog food bowl and I'm pretty sure there would've been a pretty good fight between dog and birds if the bowl hadn't have been empty.

I really thought it was cute that they were hanging around until my Rooster did this.

See that little splatter of what looks like spit?   It's Chicken sh*t.

That nasty thing didn't even stop and think about it..just kept on walking.

Now I have to power wash my porch...which shouldn't be a big problem since my flowers need watering anyway  :)

Ok, I'm serious this time.  Help me Name these Creatures!  I've asked before but never named them.  What do I name them?  I want something funny because these birds are hilarious.   And no....I'm not doing as somone anonymously suggested on the last post and name them after my parents, Mark & Kim.... and i have a pretty good Idea of who lef that message by the way! ha

OK In other News which should probably be a whole nother post, but I'm going to jam it on the end of this one...

Yesterday was Sean's Birthday!  Happy Birthday Sean!!

Check out the present my dad and I made for him.  My dad is super creative and I gave him my idea and he took it to a whole nother level!!

Isn't it awesome!!  I'll have to dig up three more of his buckles and add a photo but isn't it cool!

Here...I photoshopped a photo into it for your viewing pleasure...

THe buckles are sitting on Horse shoes and held by Horse Shoe Nails.  Check out that wood...We dug it out of an old pile of barn wood that had fallen over earlier this year.

I told Dad he should start selling these, I'd pay a lot for one!!

Well have a great thursday!...and don't forget to Name My Chickens!!!
