OK Blog World (a.k.a. the five people that read my blog) Help me out here. I'm about out of Mascara and I'm dead set on finding a mascara that doesn't make me look like a raccoon at the end of the day. I've tried every different mascara possible and they all rub of onto my skin giving me the raccoon effect.
Do you have any suggestions! What works for you?? Please keep in mind here that I'm on a limited budget and don't need to spend much.
Here are the ones I've used in the past year that rub off, and they are all waterproof! (supposedly) The one I am currently using probably smudges more the than rest though. It's the Volum' express. I've also tried Clinique Mascara and it smears pretty bad too. 
Here are a few Mascara Tips I found while looking for some new mascara on the web.
- Apply Mascara to the bottom of the last near the roots first and wiggle the wand from left to right as you pull the wand up through the lashes
- To reduce clumps, wipe the excess mascara from the brush by wiping it on a tissue before you apply to lash.
- Add extra coats to your lashes by blinking into your brush. Make sure the first coat is dry before applying the second!
- Powder your eyes before applying the mascara. Sometimes mascara is attracted to oily base makeup (HEY! That may be my problem with the raccoon eyes, I have oily eyes!)
- For a dramatic look, apply mascara only to the top lashes. To make eyes look wider apply to the bottom also.
- Do NOT pump in and out of the tube. This forces air into the tube and makes the mascara dry out faster. (I'm so guilty of this!)
- Don't Blink for at least five seconds after applying mascara!

I didn't realize that I could be a mascara conisieur until I saw that I've tried all the mascaras you pictured except for the organge one. I really like the Maybeline XXL. I usually wear the non-waterproof on a daily basis and then waterproof when I plan to cry (ha!) or swim or whatever.
Some of the rules or tips are funny! I do agree with powering your eyes and waiting until 1st coat is dry before applying a second coat. Not that my opinion matters much..but there's my 2 cents
I love Lancome's mascara. I've never had a problem with it. Love it. Even though it's a little more money.
Man I have tried a lot.
I do like the full and soft, maybeline I think.
That is what I am using now.
I am a reader of yours and LOVE all your posts!! Ok I use Loreal voluminous waterproof and have for YEARS. I love it but my eyelashes don't look as good and erins. Hope you find one you love and if you do let me know.
