Post of Many Photos

**Edited to add Tuesday's Blog Hop of Favorite Photos!  Since these are my most recent, they are automatically my favorite :)  Enjoy!**

Well Guys and Gals, It’s getting close to Hunting Season. In a few short weeks I will be a deer/duck widow. My husband will go off into the hunting woods and never come back again…until next spring…and then Rodeo Season Starts. So basically I don’t have a husband:)

haha..check out Biride's eyes.  I guess even dogs can take bad photos...she looks as if she can't stand me..aw

Anyway Yesterday I went a long with Sean and his friend to the Bayou Meto in Stuttgart Arkansas, the Duck Capitol of the US of A. We rode around all afternoon in search of some good hunting spots for the upcoming season. I told Sean I would be happy to go hunting with him as long as it wasn’t cold and I didn’t have to get up early... looks like I won'' be hunting
I’m glad I took my camera with me because the trees were breath taking. I took a million pictures.

Check out my new waders. I borrowed them from a friend and they are a youth size. Youths don’t have curves Like I do so they fit a little awkward.

Oh and "The Beard" is back. I will have to kiss a 'Santa Clause' like face for the next four months. It’s a horrible life I live.

Birdie took her first ride in a boat and LOVED every minute of it. She even dove off the boat a few times to get the training dummy. She happily and quickly bought it back, and the skunk smell followed shortly.

Banjo had a good day too. He isn’t too excited about the upcoming season with his Hip problems and all.

We also saw the above pictured beaver dam, which was pretty neat.  With all the rain we’ve been getting here lately the water was so deep we could barley stand in some areas, so the puppies got bored in the boat.

By the end of the day we were all wet, cold, and tired and finished up the evening by eating some Awesome Mexican food!

Have a Great Day!!

Great pictures. The trees are just beautiful this time of year.

My hubs is currently in "beaver destruction mode" we have a river that runs through our back yard and we love it ....but so do the beavers. They are always so busy building there dams and then Chris goes and rips them apart. It is a vicious cycle :O)

Oh, you asked to hear the story of how me & the hubs met. If you go back on my blog the story was posted on August 12th...hope you enjoy it!!!!

Great pictures! It's harvest time here, so I never see my husband either, then he goes deer hunting, and now he and his dad have decided to build a duck lake on one of the harvested fields, so I guess it's going to be a lonely winter ;-) And my husband also grows a beard in the winter and I hate it! He has a goatee the rest of the year, which I don't mind at all because he keeps it trimmed really short, but I really don't like the beard.

Love the photos of the trees and their reflections. And you can't beat that first picture of you and your doggie :-) My husband isn't a huge hunter like yours, but in a few weeks we're taking a trip down to KS to hunt birds. Last year I got my first mallard :-) We'll see if I'm that lucky this year! Do you hunt too?

Great pictures. The trees are so gorgeous. Ours are finally starting to turn some but there is still a lot of green. I can't wait for the vibrant fall colors in the trees! Don't feel too bad because I would probably need youth-sized waders too! I am vertically challenged and I'm pretty sure anything I tried would be like 2 feet too long! Sadly there will be no hunting in my future because I am not a morning person but I feel you with the hunting widow thing.

Thanks for visiting my blog, Jenna! My girls are about 7 years old. Pixie turned 7 on August 13th, and Gypsy will be 7 on January 25th. They grow so fast!
