Ok Number one. ELLEN WAS GREAT!! She was hilarious and very truthful, I loved her!
And number two...I'm Already In love with a Contestant...Casey James...In Love. I really hope he sticks around for awhile because I love him. haha...seriously though I really like his voice and he is awesome on the guitar and he sings the blues so that makes him a winner in my book!
I've been quite stalkerish since last nights show and have found that he is the lead singer for a southern rock band, the Casey James Band, which is the type of music I LOVE. I also read that he's a bad boy and has been to jail!!! ...only for a few days for a DUI, but the article headline made you think he was a murderer or something when really he just got a little to wild and made a bad decision.
Ok I'll quit talking about him now.. A few of my other Favorites so far that I hope make it to the top 12 include:
So those are my early favorites...Watch tonight at 8 so we can gossip together on all the contestants and who sucked and who was awesome and how wonderful Ellen Degeneres was as the newest Contestant...That was the Best decision EVER!! She's going to be hilarious!

Ok I am PISSED b/c I forgot all about AI last night! What was I thinking? Oh right I was trying to spend some quality time with my child haha! Nevermind. I tivo-ed it so I will watch it tonight. Ummm jealous! That girl dated Tim Tebow? He is a hottie Mchotster in my opinion;)

I LOOVE that Casey dude! In his first audition he said, "Please put me through so I can show you what I can do"... and man, can that kid play the guitar! Maybe you could do some photo shoots for him and his band, haha ;-)
LOVE Andrew Garcia and Didi! They're two of my absolute faves. That Crystal girl sure can sing too! I don't remember the Janell girl... but, wow, she dated Tebow??
I thought Ellen did a really good job too. Did you hear that there are talks about having Howard Stern take over Simon's place next year?? EW. I don't think I'd tune in.

I just finished watching last night's episode (I DVR'd it)...I was really skeptical when they made Ellen the new judge, since she's so different from Paula, but I really liked her too - I love her sense of humor! And I have to say, I loved the same people you did...hopefully they'll all make it through the group round!

OMG! I love American Idol too! I mean, seriously, usually i'd watch LOST over AI, but last night i HAD to watch AI. So Brad (who also loves LOST) told me we could watch it later on the laptop & i could watch AI right then! HAHA. Couldn't wait!
I have watched every episode EXCEPT last season - i totally missed last season. But i am so happy ELLEN is on now! LOVE ELLEN!
My favorites were the first two guys you mentioned (forgot their names already - casey? andrew?) & the girl Crystal!!! LOVE HER VOICE. I don't remember Janell though. But i know i would if i saw her. I can't wait till tonight!
The guy that sang Straight Up - when he said he was singing that i was like "OH LORD" i thought it'd be awful...haha...but it was AMAZING!!!! My hubby thought it was awesome too!
I'm a sucker for American Idol too! I thought that after Chris Daughtry didn't win, I wouldn't be able to watch, but it keeps sucking me back in.
I think Ellen is going to be great as a judge!
And yes, Casey James is awesome!
And I'm in agreement with all your other favorites too! I think it's going to be a great year.
My 2 year old and I watch faithfully every week. Every since "Pants on the Ground", my daughter asks me everyday if American Idol is going to be on?!!!
