Top Ten Thursday

Today's Top Ten Thursday is Hosted by Jen at It's a beauty Filled Life. This weeks topic is Your Top 10 Bucket List Items. This topic kind of stumped me. I've had to really think about it. I mean, I'm not a big risk taker and I'm kind of lazy so I don't set too many goals. But I've decided since my bucket list is really boring that you could look at pictures of Banjo trying to be a cow dog while Reading about what I have decided to do before I die. I am a procrastinator so I'll probably do these things right before I realize I'm gonna die. If it's an unexpected death I'm S.O.L on completing my bucket list items.

OK So # 10. Eat a Real Red Velvet Cake. Full of all the things I can't eat due to Celiac Disease!

9. Become Really good at Photography and open up a Studio!
8. Build a House with a huge closet and a Big Bathtub so I can take lots of bubble baths.
7. Rope in a Rodeo
6. Teach Sean how to Take out the Trash. (this is the one item on my bucket list I'm afraid I will never accomplish)
5. Pamper myself in a very nice Spa
4. Learn to Surf
3. Retire and travel everywhere!
2. Go to Australia and Scuba Dive in the Great Barrier Reef
1. Have Children!!
Well That's my List. It will probably change to things more relevant and important as I grow older, but for now those are my goals!
P.S.
Don't you love how Birdie is totally oblivious to what's happening behind her in the background?!

Cool

Look what I figured out how to do!!

Mini Tour

It's Tuesday! Three more days until the weekend! (four if you count today) Lately I've had the best time playing with my new camera! I'm learning all about how to focus and all about lighting and I'm also learning that I need to save up some money for new lenses!

Yesterday afternoon, I went on a walk around part of the Circle T and thought I would show you a few of the shots in a little piece I'd like to call....
Circle T Tuesday Tour! Say that five times fast.

These are all photos of my "back yard." Can you see my shadow across the ravine??
And of course my Chocolate Children came along with me! They swam in the river until I made them leave. I was being carried away my mosquito's and gnats.
I don't know why I took this picture but it turned out kind of cool. When the river floods like it did last week, it brings up all kinds of things, logs are one of them. They are scattered all along the river bank.

We also have an abundance of bones laying around. Remember the Steer head Sean found? Usually we just find random bones laying around like these. I think this cow as struck by lighting...

I took this picture to practice on my focusing skills. I didn't realize the dogs were in the picture..so it turned out pretty neat.

I took a ton more but I'll spare you. If you have any suggestions on how to take better pictures let me know!! I'm dying for advice!
And just because that was such a boring post, check out the sweet Halloween Decor you can score at Pier One! I bought the candles and the wreath! I couldn't find the candy basket, but how cute would that be to serve candy to all the little trick-or-treaters?? Pretty sure we won't have
any of those this year... oh well Happy Tuesday!

Shootin' Skeet

We had a very beautiful weekend. The sun finally peaked it's head out from the clouds on Sunday, for the first time in a week, and we enjoyed every minute of it.
Sean and some of his friends went in the back yard for skeet shooting practice. (for those of you who don't know what skeet shooting is, it's where you shoot at a clay disk {skeet} that is flung into the air. It's used for target practice for hunting birds) Banjo watched and Birdie, who had never been around Guns, hid under the bed. We'll have to start shooting more to get her out of her gun shyness. They went through boxes and boxes of shells.
Even I practiced a little. I suck at moving targets and my shoulder hurts really bad from the kick of the gun. (check out my beautiful updo in this picture....I know you are jealous that your hair can't look that good)

After Target practice Sean had to have a little talk with the Chocolate Children about how disappointed he was in their Listening abilities. He blamed it all on Me saying I spoiled them too much. That is so not True!We had a great weekend at the Rodeos. Sean one 500 dollars this weekend Yay! We're getting ready for a busy fall schedule, from Rodeo Finals, to Weddings, to Football games..I'm booked through November!!

The past month I've been making Necklaces for fun and I want to Start selling them on Esty!! I'm working on setting up an account and I'd love for you to check it out once it's up and running! I'll be giving one away to promote the "Grand Opening" of my Esty store so keep checking back for updates. Here's a sneak peak of some of my creations! All of my necklaces are made of real gemstones and are going to be priced very reasonably.

Have a great Monday!!
