Lazy Day

I don't really have much to say on this lazy Friday afternoon. So I'll just post a few pictures of my night. After getting my hair done (I'll post pictures later) I came home to find Banjo in the chair. He doesn't realize he is a dog.

Birdie is still learning how to chew on toys and not my shoes. She is still not understanding that the potty is outside though.

My Chocolate Children...Birdie wouldn't stay seated next to Banjo. She kept trying to follow me.

This is Banjo's collar. You can't tell but it has his name and address on it. We got this for really cheap at Cabellas.com. He has a camo one for hunting season but when he got sprayed by the skunk last month, (yeah and you can still get a whiff of it every now and then when he gets wet) it had to be thrown away. I think I'm going to order him and Birdie new camo ones. This one doesn't have our phone number on it, which wasn't smart of me. It has our address though so if Banjo gets lost whoever finds him can write us a letter!

He looks so old in this picture. (and Blind for some reason) I woke him up to take this picture, he wasn't very happy with me.

After playing with the dogs I went out to the Ramsey's Arena where Sean and some other "cowboys" were breaking steers. It was way to cold for how I was dressed so I didn't stay long. Since I have a cheap digital camera I can't take action shots at night. Maybe I'll catch them in the daylight soon. The pic below is of Sean working the gate. Notice his hair. I can't stand it that long. I'm pretty sure he won't cut it just to make me aggravated.
I got bored and just started taking pictures of everything.
Notice how crazy this horse looks. Most bulldogging horses are crazy. Before they leave the box to bulldog they get all excited and nervous and their ears perk up and eyes and nostrils get huge. It's exciting to watch.I found this funny.
Steer in chute

Their three legged cowdog, Tripod. I've never seen a dog with the front leg missing. He gets around surprisingly well!
This is Emily. She was one of the bulldogger's Daughters. He asked me to watch her while he was riding. She was a cute little thing, just turned three.
She found my camera very fascinating and wanted to take a picture of her daddy. She tried and tried but couldn't quite figure out that you couldn't move the camera before it flashed. And she wouldn't let me help her.

This is picture number one.
Picture number 10 (pictures 2-9 were about the same)

She finally got it! Almost. Then the camera "died" because I was afraid she might break it. She was a hoot. She called it "Bullzoggin"

Have a great weekend!!
