They Listened!!

I'm so excited. I really think the producers found my American Idol post on my blog, read it, and followed my constructive criticism! First I said they needed to shut up talking so we could watch the singing and not miss they last singer due to time. This week they did less talking! Only two judges critiqued. Although, I wish all the judges would've commented I'm glad time didn't run over this week! Second of all, Danny lost the glasses!! He looked so much better! And the last thing I suggested they totally ignored. Alison still looked hideous. I was very impressed with Anoop last night, I really thought this would be his week to go home, but now I'm not so sure. I'm thinking it may be Matt or Lil, though Anoop has been in the bottom a lot lately, his fan base might not be big enough to keep him. I can't wait to see the results tonight! Arkansas's boy Kris did so good. His vocals weren't the best but the performance was so moving! He has the ability to put his whole self into the performance and I love that about him. Adam had amazing vocals but the whole musical feminine thing he's got going on really turns me off!

I had a very relaxing afternoon after a hard day at work. Sean and I had a movie night last night, rented a couple movies, cooked dinner together (Sean actually helped with the dishes) and played with our chocolate children. Banjo was caught red handed in the flower pot. Apparently he didn't need Birdie this time. We were outside playing and he brought me a plant, roots and all in his mouth. Sean suggested that Banjo just hated the look of that flower because he doesn't mess with the other potted plants on the porch. Maybe he's right?

I was tired of Birdie chewing on all the potpurri and rugs in my house so I went to the dollar store and bought her some toys and a new collar. I was very disappointed when they ditched the toys after about 15 minutes and moved back to the potpurri and surprisingly...dryer sheets. Now, don't think I just have tons of dryer sheets laying around the house but every time I do laundry they get come get the dryer sheets. I did a little bit of laundry yesterday and they were anxiously waiting for the dryer sheet to drop from the garment it was attached to.

Sean and I watched Bedtime Stories with Adam Sandler last night while the dogs played. I really enjoyed this movie. It was so cute! It was actually funny too! Russell Brand was in the movie and I just think he is hilarious! Just his voice makes me laugh. If you enjoy kid movies with adult humour this is a great clean movie to watch. Lots of big actors are in this movie. I was surprised at how good it was! I give it 5 of 5 stars! For those of you wondering who Russell Brand is, he also plays in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, he's her rock star boyfriend. He was on the Tonight show a while back and he was just drop dead funny. He's either just crazy or on drugs. Either way it makes me laugh!

Here are some pictures of the puppies playing with their toys and each other. Banjo really loves playing with Birdie. It's sweet how he follows her around and makes sure she's always near him.
Look how ferocious my dogs look. Scary huh? They get a little to wild sometimes.

So everyday when I come home from work Birdie and I play. Banjo always goes across the pasture to my in-laws house every day after Sean and I leave the House. He'll hang around our house until no one is inside then it's off to the in-laws farm. It's funny because you can watch out your rear view mirror and he'll sit in the drive way until you turn onto the highway and he'll take off jogging to the back gate towards their house. They have a lot more going on over there during the day and he enjoys the company. My mother-in-law works on the farm during the day, so there is plenty of Banjo to see and do. Yesterday on my way home from lunch I passed him following the tractor in circles as my mother-in-law drug the arena. He seamed pretty happy so I left him alone. It's become a habit of his to stay over there. It's quite sad because I'd love to see him run around the corner of the house every time I get in from work. But sadly I have to walk halfway to the creek and yell at the top of my lungs "Banjo, COME!" He'll come running (usually) if he's not preoccupied because he knows he's about to get fed. Sometimes he can't see me and he gets really confused, which is why I have to walk halfway to the creek to become visible to him. All the bulldoggers make fun of me on a regular basis because when they are at the arena, Banjo is always there with them tied to the fence desperately wanting to be let free so he can chase the steers. They practices about twice a week. They always laugh about me hollering at Banjo and how he goes nuts trying to get untied until someone finally helps him. They tease me and say the don't let him go so I'll have to keep yelling or come get him, which better not be true. One day Birdie will be big enough to roam around, but not just yet.

But anyway back to my story. At lunch Birdie and I play everyday. Yesterday Birdie managed to pee pee four times and poopied twice. How does an 8 pound puppy have that much inside of her!? Thank goodness both poopies and two peepee's were outside, but the other two pee pees were on my kitchen rug and in my hallway. So not only did I have to scrub the carpet, and throw the mat in the wash, but I've decided that tonight I'm going to steam clean my carpet with my mom's carpet cleaner. So far I think that I've caught all of her accidents but if she can pee four times in one hour, how many times has she peed and I missed it?! That makes me sick to think I have little puppy pee pee puddles uncleaned on my carpet! Oh and Banjo learned to drink out of the toilet...Nice... He got a spanking so hopefully it won't happen again. I'm going to buy an automatic water feeder at the feed store today so we for sure won't have that problem again!

Well I'm going to finish up work for the day! Have a good Wednesday!

Jenna T.
