and lots of runs were scored

Last night I played my weekly double header Church League Softball game.  I'm semi gifted when it comes to sucking on the softball field.  But it's a lot of fun and it allows me to tell people I exercise weekly without lying about it.

Last night I took my new camera and snapped a few photos before it got time to get serious.  The team were were playing were all college softball players and I had to put my game face on.
This is the proper way to watch the game from the dug out.  It is also acceptable to bend your arms at the elbow but you must hang them from the fence in some capacity.

This is Lauren.  She had to miss the game last week because she was on her honeymoon.  She really missed out too.  I'd much rather be playing softball than on my honeymoon on a tropical island.

I'm pretty sure Lyndsey had decided this ball was too high to swing at because she is totally not looking at the ball.  And I remember the pitcher walked the first four batters.  and then they swiched pitchers and guess who was batter number five?
Me.  I hit a line drive up the middle for 2 RBI's .  yeah I know, I'm good.
...but then I quickly cancelled that out when I got burned in left field with a ball I should've caught and then hit a dribbler to the pitcher to loose the game.

Here's Sean's Auntie Linda.  Linda tore her hamstring in the next inning..  Tore it in half.  Had to go the the emergency room.  Almost passed out.  yuck.  Hope she's feeling better today...hope she got some good pain killers.

We lost the first game...but at least the sky was pretty.

your new camera looks fanastic!

I suck at softball. I was good when I was like 6, but then everybody else got better and I didn't. BUMMER.
